Not quite the finish I was hoping for. I ended up finishing the tournament in 47th weighing in just 2 keepers and taking home a whopper check for $250. I was a little thrown the first day when we got out on the river and it was completely muddied up. So much for the hair jig bite. It was 2 days filled with errors on my part. I had fish pull off, break off, jump off, and even straighten the hook out. It was difficult enough to even get bit, and in 2 days I was able to loose 7 keepers. It would easily have been enough weight to make the cut if I had landed just 3 of those fish. Oh well, that was the last tournament I'll be fishing as a Co-angler; now I can concentrate on the rest of the Stren trail. Fishing as a Co-angler was one of the greatest fishing experiences I've ever had. I would definitely suggest trying it if you get the chance. Things don't always go how you want, but I guarantee you'll learn something; whether it's good, or bad.
