Hey, WTF! Thats not me..umm, or my Jeep...uhhhh..rotten ratboy Zach and his camera
Fine, thats right, you've been Pirate Poached and I have your trophy smarty pants. I have it and I'm gonna have my way with it from now until the X Mas Banquet! I have your trophy Diaper Boy, but It's not the fact that I have it, it's the fact that you couldnt stop me from TAKING it! :p
Now the question is, what am I going to DO with it? Chew on that one awhile soiled fabric sniffer!
Now back to the event...It was a blast as usual! The turnout was incredible, the food was awesome and lots of raffles. Many new faces, it's really getting harder and harder at each event to remembere the faces and names withour getting some of them confused. Maybe it's time to start using name tags at these events?
We launched in the dark from Weatherfield Cove and it was quite the trip in the dark and fog, the main river was full of debris. Needed GPS and a slow ride to get to where we were heading. The Piratestub landed a lot of fish Sunday, too bad no Pike but we hammered the Channel cats and did pretty well on crappies to 14" as well! The top 5 cats were 1- 10# @ 28.5", 2- 9# cats at 28" each, 1- 7.5# @25.5" and a 7# at 25"! Incredible half day fishing for Cats!
Anyone else notice the river rise a LOT during the day? I made it back to Weathersfield Cove to find my Jeep and trailer in the water! I actually drove the boat up to the drivers door to let Bri into the Jeep! LOL Got a bunch of pictures to put up later.
Great time as usual, cant wait to we get together for the next adventure!
BYW...I think Amy has some shirts people ordered that need to be taken care of. I got the shirts for Teikas Dad (Skip) and Bent Twig (Pat Jr). I'll make arraingments to deliver both.

Someone has to remind Kapt what we are fishing for. Last year he was trying for crappie and this year he was trying for Catfish. Funny thing is he couldn't catch a catfish at the Monster Cat tourney.
By the way, that chili kept me up all night thanks.

Good idea on the name tags at future events Kapt (at least big ones)-that would be cool and pretty easy to do. The only reason I tried Kapt's Pirate Chili was because people told me not to. Then I had to... just like when my Dad gave me the keys to the station wagon when I was 17 year old and told me "dont test the acceleration". I just had to...
