To Paul and all who organized Piketoberfest, a huge thank you it was a blast!! It was my 1st Piketoberfest and the pike avoided me like the plague! I did manage a 14" smallmouth but nothing else. Had to take off early due to the cold(for me) and some other things that needed to be done but I did have a good time! I'm sorry I missed the chance to meet everyone who attended but to thoise of you I did get to meet it was a pleasure indeed! Can't wait till next year! Thanks again, Paul!!
Looking for a good time?, Go catch a fish and catch the fever!

Piketoberfest has come and Piketoberfest has gone.....
I'd like to thank all who were involved in putting this together including but not limited to...(P.Dona,Mitch,Chris,Amy,Dave)
It was my first trip to the Ct.River, and although i didn't catch a fish i had a very enjoyable day.Anytime us CTF'ers gather it is a enjoyable day.
I'd like to congratulate the winners, and all who landed A Pike. The day started rather chilly, but by picnic time time it was quite nice out.The food was AWESOME.....too many gracious suppliers to list for that.
I too would like to give BIG kudo's to Booty(Jim) for an awesome display of kindness. He went above and beyond for a total stranger, and for that he is applauded. The family was very grateful.
Til my next CTF gathering.......tight lines to all!!!!
Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time....

I was the master netter- Jack had it barely hooked on the outside of the lip- and as soon as it rolled in the net- the lure fell off I think we might need to invest in a frabill net for next year
Fishing is way too important to take so seriously...
