jt and i got to my spot at 3 am just in case somebody else wanted to fish it we would be there. unloaded the fire wood from my truck and started the fire and sat and talk till around 5 when trev and his uncle showed up. we all sat around the fire telling fish storys till around 645am when we went from story telling to being to fishing. i got the first hit of the day but missed it around 730 trev started cooking breakfest. we all ate then went back to fishing. around 830 i got my first pike, 27 inches on a spinner bait a min later trev got one 28 inches on a shinner about 5 mins after that i pick up anther one 24 inches. after that buckcall called my cell an asked how i was doing then came and stold shinners from me and started fishing about 50 yards next to us on the boat and the ball busting was on. it was dead for about an hour but it didnt stop us from having fun buckcall on his boat and us from shore busting balls. buckcall picked up a small one it was so small i could hardly see it from shore lol then i missed a moster. after that i got a 28 incher then i throw my rod out with a dead shinner and a foat and as soon as it hit the water a 32 incher jump out of the water with my shinner and i hooked him and got 3rd for it

it was a great day thanks to PDONA and mitch and everyone else for puting this event on i had a great time. also congrats to everyone else who placed and got a pike. sorry i couldnt stay longer i didnt sleep for 2 days and i was really tired.
