Wow! Boy did I ever make a bad call. I never imagined the bill to reduce license fees would pass for this year but it did. Congratulations and much appreciation to all of the sportsmen out there who got off their duff and wrote letters, attended rallies, or generally advocated for sportsmen to get these obnoxious fees lowered. The new fees are already set up on the DEP online license web site. Here is the link: https://ct.outdoorcentral.net/InternetSales/ or https://ct.outdoorcentral.net/InternetSales/LicenseSale.aspx
Best deals and odd prices.
Archery - $41 Hunting (firearms) - $19 All water fish - $32
All water with archery - $65 All water with hunting (firearm) - $38.
So if you want all water plus hunting firearms plus archery you can get it three ways.
1 – each separately $41 + $19 + $32 = $92 2 – all water with hunting (firearm) + archery $38 + $41 = $79 3 – all water with archery + hunting(firearm) $65 + $19 = $84
Now why would you pay more by purchasing option 1 or 3. It really doesn’t make any sense. Maybe we should chip in and purchase a calculator for the folks over at the state legislature. Me? I’m picking the $79 option.
