Yes they stocked tigers in Muscoot for many years but discontinued it about 10 years ago. Jack Stewart claimed that a 30lber was caught there.
As mentioned they have been stocking the tigers in New Croton, 5000 a year for the past 6 years. They will only continue stocking if they get feedback that the fish are thriving and people are catching them. From talking to Jack Stewart and Ron Pierce (The local DEC guy)the most likely place to catch fish is the nothern part of this very long body of water. I agree with them as there is a large spillway there which should attract baitfish. Also there are some great deep weed edges, rocky points and small secluded bays that are classic musky/pike holding areas.
Since 9/11 there has no boats been allow on New Croton but I heard rumors that they are reopening it in April. Lets hope so.

Hello All,
Newest boat Whore here, only crazy about fishin', however wife does say I am a litle weird about it also... I Generally become VERY excited at large schools of Bluefin crashing bait and the like, hopefully this behavior will not get me thrown off anyone's boat Ha...Ha... Seriously this forum seems much friendlier than a couple of others I belong to where in 2 years only a handful of times I have seen posts for available spots on boats offered to "Strangers". I am sure glad this generous service is provided so openly here and hope in fact it is genuine. Really look forward to meeting some of you and being all I can be as the greatest boat whore that ever fished the seven seas.

Transition from integration to disintegration depends on the rise and fall of yin and yang.

Uh Oh! Frank has competition for the title of boat whore!

Seriously Steve the open seat offers are very genuine. That is how I met most of the guys I know from the site.
Welcome to the group and you will see how many chances you get to jump in somewhere.
