Kapt: I look forward to heading into the L.I. Forks with you this Spring. You are first on my list.
I owe you mucho Fluke $$$ from last year.
The report that the sound is ~10 degrees colder this year than last is disheartening. Remember that 95 degree April too, that must have heated things up last Spring too. We must be at least 2-3 weeks behind.

My boat doesn't compare to most salt boats here but if someone is foolish enough to trust me then they are welcome to come along with me. Bring your wet weather gear

Zach Yes, by all means you will be welcome. I will contact you as soon as I get the boat on the reservoir. You will need a special permit in addition to you fishing licence . This can be obtained from the DEP. You can down load the form from the web . I will send you the address of their site. This permit is mandatory, you will be checked. They have been stocking 5000 tigers a year there for the last 6 years. Some of them should be approaching 40 inches by now as they grow very quick. By all means we should hit Greenwood in April/ May. Lake Hopatcong is equally as good if not better. My boat partner pulled out a fat beautiful 42 " tiger from that lake last fall when we fish a Muskies Inc tournment. Keep in touch fellow Esox hunter.
17' Boston Whaler Newport. I should just hand out the keys, unless something changes, I get out once a week at best, usually spur of the moment, and then for only an hour or two. Then again, some 4AM trips may be in store. Any ones's welsome and I'll try to post.
JohnG, how is that tiger muskie fishing on New Croton? I know they had them in Muscoot a few years ago but thought they gave up on it. Do you fish the east or west sections? The southern NY fishing directory put out by Jack Stewart Fund lists all NY waters stocked with tiger muskie and is a good reference book.
I'll be posting spots this year. My boat is a gas hog and its two big to take out by myself. I dock it in New London.I have fish 4 guys in the race off my boat without them even touching one another, tons of room. The boat has seats, toliet, and frig! I'll post some pic's soon, bought a new dig cam for better pic's this year.

Its older but I redid everything on the boat, hell the motor has under 200 hours! Tired of sitting at the dock cuase my normal fish buddies are busy. Just a little concerned about taking on strangers. Perhaps someone can organize a lunch or meeting or something in the SE section of the state? So we can meet everyone.
