I like that whole line-up that tbob mentioned. I'm kinda glad I didn't get tickets for that show cuz they would've been wasted due to my neck injury. But I did go see Bon Jovi & Kid Rock instead. Not metal by a long shot but still an excellent show.
glenn, have seen kid rock several times but the best one was Aerosmith,Kid,and Run dmc...at end of show they all were on stage together doin "walk this way" I think it was.He def puts on good show.
MB,you should expect an excellent show!!!Wish I was goin. You got pavillion seats or lawn?....one thing I didnt expect last time was the $30 to park!!!!!!!Freeekin ripoff!!!
Retired=fishing, traveling, slot machines and NHRA.
tbob55, We have pavillion seats in the 600 section. I got two for $150 on e-bay that include parking and a flash pass. (Whatever that is), I don't get out much, other than fishing, but am looking forward to the show. I always wanted to see both groups, so it's kind of like two for the price of one.
Forgot to put up a post that the Slayer/Megadeth/Testament show a few weeks back in Wallingford was good. Slayer killed it and Megadeth was solid. I was bummed to only catch two songs by Testament, as they went right on at 7 p.m. The Slayer pit was exhausting for this 40-year-old.
This is pretty cool. Randy Johnson photographed Megadeth for the Phoenix date on the tour:
I know it's probably bubblegum rock to most of you guys that psot on this thread but I saw Candlebox at the webster a few weeks ago and Stone Temple Pilots last night at Mohegan Sun Arena. Candlebox was a good show But STP put on a fantstic show. I must say Mohegan is a great place to catch a concert. It doesn't look like theres a bad seat in the house and the acoustics were good too.
Oh ya and there were plenty of beer booths and options of flavors as well!
