How was the show Mitch.... I reeaaalllyyyy wanted to go but couldn't get away...I hope they have a show close by some time soon... One of my fav's...just read Dave's book....great read and brutally honest.... You gotta wonder if one of the other three in metallica were kicked to the curb early would they have had the talent to succeed as Dave did....?. Never know I guess

I read an excerpt from the book, about how he "joined" Metallica. Very well written, though some of Dave's ego shines though in it as well, not that James and Lars dont either but thats not the point.
Of the other 3, if any of them could have made it on his own it would have had to be Kirk, cant see James or Lars making it very far without help. Individually they are good, together they were great.

That guy from Gorgoroth is kind of a tool. You do know he bats for the other team right?
Not that there's anything wrong with that. After all, the metal god, Rob Halford plays for that team.
Going to see Suicidal Tendencies in NYC this weekend. Looking forward to that, as they're one of my all time favorites. Last time I saw them, they were an opener for the ridiculous Insane Clown Posse so the show was short. They're headlining this time, so I hope it's good.
Solid show. But when you put that many big bands together, with such a good catalog of songs, there's always going to be songs that you want to hear that don't get played. I'd much rather see one or two of them, instead of three. Regardless, hearing Slayer and Megadeth play entire albums live was very cool.
