Although this will not be a popular position, I think it would be best if it was not announced where they stock that monster. Just think about the pressure on the pond or lake, plus the safety factors and frayed nerves as we all know can happen. Stocked quietly at night by only 1 person who knows would cause less problems????? Just take an 8-10" Auger whereever you go!!!!!!!! ;-\)

Wait a minute....
- if "the beast of Kensington" is that big why will they release the new "state record" if it really is a pet? Don't get me wrong I would love to play with that fish but introducing a instant state record to a frozen lake seems like it might take away from the accomplishment of catching the state record. My 2 CENTS???

Besides, this fish was raised in a concrete tank and is has had lots of human contact. Can we say it's really the SR or just a HUGE Pet?
