Birch will never need a camera to prove his catch. His has more than proven himself with plenty of pics of big fish. I don't think he catches anything under 4 lbs.
Great job Birch. I'll be sure to stay away from any tournie you are in.
I don't blame You for not wanting to give up Your spot. After a post like that, there would be 100 boats there waiting for You the next time You went. This place must not get much pressure though. Those were "high quality fish", a once in a lifetime day for some of us. KEEP UP THE GOOD BASS'IN !
Well that is exactly the reason I don't name some of the places I've done well at. It's true after a post with such caliber fish, many will think it's easy to repeat such a day and flock to the scene. Unfortunately, they are mistaken. Experience tells me it's very rare for one angler to catch 3 fish over 5 lbs. in one CT trip. The conditions just happened to be perfect and I was fortunate to take advantage.
I have fished this particular lake for the last 10 years and only had one day with similar results. As far as fishing pressure... this lake gets more than it's share and as some may think, it's far from private.
