I was at that Clash of the Titans show at Lake Compounce. July 1991. That was a brutal pit. I was in the middle and it took me like 45 minutes to get out to take a leak. Just kept getting pushed back in. Alice In Chains opened and got one of the worst booing's ive ever seen. The worst booing was probably for the Stone Temple Pilots when they opened for Megadeth at New Haven Coliseum.

I was in the front row for the STP Megadeth show in New Haven. I think I remember the singer having some guy removed from the show for heckling him.

Anyone see Priest play Mohegan on Sat. night? It was one of the best metal shows in a very long time. The band was on! The metal gods did not disappoint. They rocked!

Saw them at both Mohegan and the Tweeter Center tonight which I am just getting back from and quite deaf! Back in the day they are thee ONES who got me into Metal first if you don't count Sabbath anyways. They were pretty tight both nights but the crowd was better at Mohegan and the acoustics better at the Tweeter Center. Halford can still hit all those high notes too which surprized me considering his age.

Steve,

Seeing them twice is hardcore! You're definitely metal! I could see how you would go twice. They were that darn good! What a band. Touring and playing all-out is hard work. They don't lame out and "just get it done." They're not fake. It's clear they truly are the metal gods.

Right your are and I am still plenty deaf today to prove they are among the elite of elite. :p
I wish I knew Queensryche's newer and more obscure material, I only really know their stuff from "Mind Crime" and they only did one number from that which disapointed me a bit but all in all is was a great couple of nights!

This summer I am going to see Megadeth and Dream theater. They are the headliners of a show at Jones beach that also features Nevermore. Its gonna rock.

anybody still go to toads? Saw papa roach there about 2 month ago with a bunch of local bands and they were great. took the kids(god I feel so old when I say that!), at least they're not listening to pop. also saw lincoln park last year, great concert except for snoop dog. going to ozzfest, taking the kids again but I know I'll have a good time!

Hello,
I saw the Judas Priest show in Manchester New Hampshire this past weekend and DAMN! One hell of a show. We stayed in the same hotel as 4/5s of Priest and I personally thanked KK Downing for one hell of a show in the lobby the next morning.

I have always been a somewhat casual Priest fan and frankly was looking forward to Queensryche more but seeing two guys who can belt out vocals like that was incredible. I know some echo and reverb was used but I swear Halford was pulling some of those notes so deep they were coming straight from his pinky toe. My wife who LOVES Priest was also impressed with Tate's vocals.

She may not agree with me that Operation Mind Crime is one of the best albums of our generation but she was impressed. It was definately the best money spent on a concert in years!
