I do have the answer to this and have posted on this website early on and have called the authorities several times and have been watching the outcome. Mostly people with in state plates with friends with out of state plates.they go to the middle of the catch and release area with 5 gallon buckets and coolers to hide the fish and use all manner of means for reeling these fish in. trot lines with treble hooks, salt water rigs with big plugs, regular spinning rods with snelled hooks and bait of all kinds. When confronted, they stare at you and speak other languages no English. the many fish are kept on sticks , in coolers and buckets I have never seen one released. I have never seen tickets or seizures of gear or questions asked but have been told by Deep to move along and mind my business, as they are on official business themselves. Thats about it i am sorry to say, Im done, If you want to see for yourself, go to the beach area in the park on river road on any weekend and see for your self. Dont even bother if you are going to get mad as its not worth it. You might even get arrested for complaining
I totally agree with you. That is where I saw people keeping everything that they caught and they were using salted minnows. English 2nd language if at all.
