I have the same generator and it has treated me very well. Mine also has no battery but starts right up with 1 or 2 pulls.

I gave my generator away but am thinking about getting another especially with this LEE coming. But, I would spend 50 bucks of gas getting to you Jeff. Unless you bring it to Niantic and we take my new boat and new motor for a trip smile1 Motor is being installed now at atlantic outboard.
