Anyone got an old rotisserie motor or better yet the whole kit? (that works) Looking for one to make a spinner drying rack.

Thanks,

Pick up a can opener at a tag sale, yank the motor. We have been using um for for years for epoxy flies and rod guide drying.

Rivers end in Old Saybrook has the motors in stock, less than $20.

Best bet is to buy an actual drying motor, anything else won't work quite right.

You want about 4-6 Rpm's to get the right finish.

Not sure how heavy the spinners are but the turntable motor off an old micro wave works really well. I build epoxy fly drying systems using them. Perfect speed and seem happy to run forever. You can find them online for about 5 bucks if you can't scare up and old microwave.
