This may be more of a vent than anything. The state stocks Pendleton Brook in North Stonington close to where Rt 49 and 216 meet. On the other side of the bridge on 49 the property along side the brook is posted, no tresspassing. The brook then flows into Spalding Pond which is 100% private with no public access. If the state (tax payers) is paying to stock this brook, I would think that there would be a little more access to them. How is it determined where fish are to be stocked? OK I'm done.

I would suggest you call the Inland Fisheries biologists at Marlborough. Let them know your concerns and they may rethink where they are stocking. 860-295-9523
