If you are going to use a firearm your archery supersport isn't going to cut it. With a bow then I would think the supersport would be okay but you still need the waterfowl stamps and HIP permit.
I didn't think you could hunt waterfowl with a bow, but I guess you can.
From the Waterfowl regs. Restrictions: Unless specifically authorized for a special season, no person shall take migratory game birds:
* With a trap, snare, net, crossbow, rifle, pistol, swivel gun, shotgun larger than 10-gauge, punt gun, battery gun, machine gun, fishhook, poison, drug, explosive or stupefying substance.
Have you or has anyone every hunted waterfowl with a bow before??? Just curious.
Sorry I wasn't more clear guys. The Archery Super Sport includes Spring Turkey and includes small game so I questioned if it included small game firearms (not big game). I ended up buying the CT firearms license online also. CT should look at how other states offer licenses and develop a real "Super Sportsman" that includes all fishing and types of hunting under one license.
