went to a small pond in watertown , iv gone there three times this year and have done good every time. were getting jumbo perch on jigging rods, and monster pickeral on tip ups, the only thing is we just got a gas agaur, and ever sence we got it the fishing slowed down, does that scare the fish on a small pond (2.5 acers)

It could have but, depending on the size of the pond and how long (per day) you fish it the problem could be the pressure you are putting ont he fish

If it picks up invite me lol

I believe power augers scare the fish in shallow water. One thing you can try is to drill some holes then move about 40 yards and drill a few more then go back and fish the first set of holes you drilled. After that go back and fish the 2nd. set of holes, it gives the fish time to turn back on. Just a suggestion.

Drill all of your holes at once, and give it 30 minutes or settle down and you should be alright!
