Bman27, you need to hook up with Nels who is also from MN. He will explain the difference. It is a totally different bite. We have a pelagic bait fish, alewife herring, that the walleye feed on so the techniques and bait are different. Leeches do work though, but it is a different presentation than the lindy rig.

I'm sorry I didn't get out of work early because by the time I had lauched my boat 1/2 of the crew took off fishing - Can't blame them cause that's why we were there - nice meeting the 8 or 10 guys that I did meet - we have to do it again on a Saturday night so we all can sleep in on Sunday & get there at a good early hour Sat afternoon. Our boat got or something. Thanks
