This will not happen until minimally 2009. I have no clear answer but all I can say is that there is a definite huge increase of boat traffic and tournaments every year, there is a total disregard of the resource with more and more developing going and the lake is simply not going to be able to handle the increase in all these factors so I have to be in favor of some sort of restriction.
I don't want it to become private but there has to be a way to man the launch houses to collect the ramp fee and use the money so it goes back into preserving the lake and adding patrols or some other resolution. I am stunned the fishery maintains its level of success but it won't last forever if the pressure continues to climb with traffic and developing.
If the sticker money goes back to help the lake then I would be all for it. "If" is a huge word but again as long as the $ is used to go back to the resource then again I am for it. For the guys that won't pay the $50 for the entire year to fish it I think you should really put it in perspective on how much that is, less than a round of golf!
CHANGE IS SCARY BUT IT IS REWARDING ON THE OTHER SIDE!
SURELY MISS MY CTF FRIENDS BUT ALWAYS WILL BE HERE TO GIVE ALL A HARD TIME!
