Contrary to Lee, I find it a lot easier to avoid snagging them with a heavier head, because it makes it easier to tell the difference between a hit and the line just rubbing the fish. I suppose it would make it easier to snag 'em if you were actually trying to, but it also makes it easier to avoid snagging if you're trying not to.

95% of the time, I use 1/2 to 1 oz heads, and 5" to 7" Fin-S Fish.
