24.April: Arrived at Bissell about 4:20 pm, wind gusting from the South. The river was choppy, very turbid and the wind was pushing water against the tide. A half dozen shadaholics were jawing in the parking lot, and none were casting. I made a couple of dozen casts, but only got fouled with weeds and leaves every cast. Radio joined me for a bit before we both called it an afternoon. Nothing was doing in the wind, chop, and turbidity. According to Radio, the shad and weather was more accommodating in the morning.

Tomorrow may or may not be better, in terms of a Southerly wind. I'll figure that out tomorrow with feet on the ground.

Terminal Tackle: 3/4 oz drail over a 4'+, 10# flouro leader, and a hammered silver willow leaf in yellow w/black dot.
