Unfortunately the only way the state will lose money by doubling the fees is if greater than half of the fishermen (and women) refuse pay the increased fees. I'm just don't see that happening. I'm sure the state had their bean counters do the statistics and predict that. I agree with Tommy. The answer is through protest, letters and calls and through the election process.
