We did our traditional day at Chatfield with family and friends. Fishing was slow they barely stocked this year in the areas we fished. But just before we where to leave we found a couple spots in the brook and able to get the kids and I our two trout each limit before we left. My children had a great time and came home wet, muddy and tired.

Excellent! Chatfield Hollow is a GREAT place. I rarely fished it, but spent a lot of time there walking and hiking with my kids throughout their K-9 school years before they got too cool for parents. Now they’re 20 and 21 years old.
Saw you and your crew there quite a few years ago, before I knew it was you.
Do you cook or smoke them? Do you do Trout Euro Mounts???!!!
I heard from PDona today that most of the stockies were running small this year....like 11”-13” average.
