I was visiting a relative in a nursing home yesterday and spotted a copy of the Danbury paper with a front page story regarding a proposal to require a seasonal launch fee for boaters using the lake. The fees would range from a $20. short term (1 or 2 days) fee to seasonal fees of $50. for area residents and $100. for non-area residents. Did I miss this at another time or is it the first time it has been proposed?
