If you need a quick fix, skunks do not like loud bass-heavy music. One site suggested laying your boom box face down on the shed floor and cranking up the bass. A few hours of Motorhead might do the trick.
They are pretty easy to trap Get a have a heart trap Bait it After you get him in there through a towel over the cage and take the cage put it in your truck and drive it to another location I have done this a few times in my dads old trailer park and never got sprayed by one

FYI I have been escorting the exterminator at my work for ten years now and would like to let it be known that relocating skunks, Raccoons and Foxes is against the law in Conn. The reason is that they are known rabie carriers and of coarse there's no way of knowing that unless the animal is dead and been tested. That's the reason for the law. Remember please this is just a FYI so I don't want to get into a discussion on this matter. As a home remedy you can sprinkle cyanne pepper around the area and that should drive the critters away until the next rain washes it away. Please don't send that skunk over to my part of Niantic however. We seem to have enough of our own. Seems everytime I try to leave a bedroom window open for the night Mr. Skunk leaves his calling card somewhere nearby.......whew!!!
Wet lines or dry office? The choice is easy!! Call in a sick day!

The way I uthanize them is I throw a tarp over the cage and run a vaccuum cleaner hose from my exhaust pipe to the cage. About ten minutes later they're sleeping permantly. But the Pond soak cage system works just as well also. And my previous post was written yesterday. Last night I left the bedroom windows open and sure as s*** Mr. Skunk visited someone nearby. Had to get up quick and close the windows in the middle of the night. I hate those guys.
