We are pleased to announce that Captain Kyle Overturf has been selected to lead DEP’s Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police and has been promoted to the rank of Colonel.

Colonel Overturf has more than 20 years of service with the EnCon Police. Colonel Overturf has served the EnCon police force with distinction and throughout his career he has made strong contributions to environmental law enforcement efforts here in Connecticut and throughout the region. Prior to his promotion, Colonel Overturf was the Commanding Officer of the EnCon Police Marine District.
