thats horses/t. im scheduled to go there one time and i have to pay a 50 dollar user fee. is that for residents , boats launching at the state or town launches??? is the federation state 2 day exempt?
They also have discussed limiting the permits issued. The idea is to fund the CLA so the towns don't have to do it and then limit the permits probably giving preference to town residents first. So bass tournaments will probably be eliminated because no permits available. I am sure there will be DEP opposition to this idea.

Might be a good time to read the article and post your thoughts on this
Have a safe time on the water and may that tight line be pulling back.

I thought the article stated that the DEP will not back the stickers unless it is open to everyone who is willing to purchase one; no quotas. It would affect everyone who wanted to launch their boat on Candlewood to help raise money for the CLA.
As much as I'm not a fan of paying for things in a free country - this wouldn't increase boat traffic on Cwood, it would discourage occasional use, which might be a benefit in the end.
