Here is an update on the "Beast of Kensington" from DEP...

 Quote:
The legend of the 'Beast of Kensington' continues. It is now 20.4 lbs. (as of 11/16/07) and will be encouraged to join in the spawning. Unless it fails, we will keep him for another year. Some of the other big brown trout that we showed you last year are scheduled to be stocked out and will tear up some tackle and give some lucky angler a thrill of a life time. We hope that anyone that hooks up on one of these has a good heart.

OMG!!!!

If bluefish were to grow as big as giant bluefins, then there would be nothing left out there except for blues!

I LOVE MY BLUES!

Here's another trout update and photos from the DEP:

 Quote:
This past Monday (11/26/2007) we spawned out the big brown trout at Kensington Hatchery. All the fish were graded on their performance and the fish to be stocked have been separated out. These fish will be stocked in December and will go into selected lakes for ice fishing season. A press announcement that will follow after the stocking will reveal where the fish went. We are going to release some real big fish including the 'Beast of Kensington'. These big fish are a great bunch of pets to us and we will be happy to share our creations with the angling public. Next year we have every reason to believe there will be fish just as big as the 'Beast'. Great job Al and the staff of Kensington Hatchery. Now all you have to do is raise us a 30 lb. fish.

The "Beast of Kensington" will be released for ice-fishing season...

More fish...
