The opening might not be Geezer but the rest of this song was pretty tight.

Veteran thrashers Testament just came out with their 11th album the other week, Brotherhood of the Snake. Definitely check it out. They've been cranking out solid thrash metal since 1983 and don't get the attention they deserve. While Metallica is always good live, they are simply not as heavy as they used to be. Testament reigns!

This is my favorite track so far ...

Metallica has been releasing a video for every song off the upcoming new album throughout today on their website.

This one is pretty solid.

The album is available for listening on Metallica's website. Gotta admit - I'm disappointed. After their last album, I was hoping for more. Hopefully it grows on me.

I was following along on their website yesterday as they released each vid. I listened to all of the songs. There is definitely some good stuff there. And, the videos are pretty cool.

We're just not going to get "old" Metallica with their new stuff. I get and accept that. I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment out of this album, but it doesn't get me fired up. If you like thrash metal, definitely check out the new Testament album. It crushes Metallica.

I will. Used to love Testament. I haven't listened to them in way too long.
