I like that whole line-up that tbob mentioned. I'm kinda glad I didn't get tickets for that show cuz they would've been wasted due to my neck injury. But I did go see Bon Jovi & Kid Rock instead. Not metal by a long shot but still an excellent show.

My daughter and I are going to see CS&N and Tom Petty next Tuesday at the Comcast Theater in Hartford.

Never been there, what can I expect?

Thanks,
Mike B.

tbob55,
We have pavillion seats in the 600 section.
I got two for $150 on e-bay that include parking and a flash pass. (Whatever that is), I don't get out much, other than fishing, but am looking forward to the show. I always wanted to see both groups, so it's kind of like two for the price of one.

Good Luck,
MB

Forgot to put up a post that the Slayer/Megadeth/Testament show a few weeks back in Wallingford was good. Slayer killed it and Megadeth was solid. I was bummed to only catch two songs by Testament, as they went right on at 7 p.m. The Slayer pit was exhausting for this 40-year-old. rawk

This is pretty cool. Randy Johnson photographed Megadeth for the Phoenix date on the tour:

I know it's probably bubblegum rock to most of you guys that psot on this thread but I saw Candlebox at the webster a few weeks ago and Stone Temple Pilots last night at Mohegan Sun Arena. Candlebox was a good show But STP put on a fantstic show. I must say Mohegan is a great place to catch a concert. It doesn't look like theres a bad seat in the house and the acoustics were good too.

Oh ya and there were plenty of beer booths and options of flavors as well!

Just read a review of a one off Metallica/Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax show that was done overseas, that would have been a crazy show.

Mohegan is a solid place to see a show.

Check this out regarding STP possibly lip syncing. The video in the article is pretty damning.

Here's a couple pics from the pit at the end of the Megadeth show in Wallingford on 8/16.
