Slacktide,,,how was the Alice in Chains cover band??? I love that place Cooks,,,I've seen a couple Sabbath tribute and a Metallica tribute band up there ( very good, but not GREAT) by far and away is Iron Maiden tribute band called Sanctuary,,,, I've seen them like 3x already up there and they are AWESOME!!!!!! has anyone else seen them? any comments,,,if your an IM fan ,you absoloutly have to check them out

Facelift was awesome!
They NAILED all of the harmonies,the guitars,drums & bass were "in the pocket" the new sound guy down there really was on top of his game, The singer's voice couldn't have been more dead on! Great show.
I've seen Sanctuary a few times, I'm not a huge Iron maiden fan but I do think they do a great job of covering them.

With the stadium in East Hartford now, i can't believe they still use the Meadows.

Or maybe a couple of those Dave Mathews 'Rocks, Glass, and Rubber Bullets' tours made them iffy.

Koplik owns (or at least is invested in) the Meadows and not the Stadium. It's all about money, that's why there's not too many shows at the Civic center too.
