I'm hardcore, baby! hundreds of concerts and pits over the years, and I've only lost 2 watches and had one black eye ;\)

Fishing is way too important to take so seriously...

Two busted noses and one chipped tooth. My pit days ended when the Ramones called it quits. Their pits were fun. Today's pits are more about violence. No thanks. But if you'll be in one, maybe I'll come out of retirement. \:D

Ever lost a shoe in a pit? Not pretty...
Ramones pits were the best - alot of vertical bouncing and everyone took care of each other. I was a huge Priest fan back in the day I remember going to a party in Brookfield when I was a senior in high school after Turbo came out and everyone burned their copy in a bonfire while blasting Sad Wings Of Destiny.

Ahhh, the pit days!!
nowadays it seems there all about how many bodies you can stack in an ambulance (even at my own bands shows!)
I distinctly remember Slayer at the Agora where kids were literally hanging from the ceiling rafters in order to stay out of the pit (because the entire floor WAS the pit!) What a train wreck!!! It was a BLAST.

I saw slayer last november at the roseland ballroom. My friend and I were making an effort to stay away from the violence. At one point I turned around and saw one guy just pounding on some dude who was laying on the floor. He was punching him pretty good and I debated whether i should step in. (I was easily at least 6 inches taller and 100 pounds heavier than both these guys)

The guy was getting pummeled real good and my friend yelled to me to break it up. I merely stuck my arm in front of the aggressor's face and he backed off. Probably saw the size of me and didn't want to mess!!!

Broken nose and bruised ribs, Pantera with biohazard in springfield. Dont remember the year though. It was a general admission show and i (somehow) made it to the front row. The rib injury was from being pressed up against the gate. And the broken nose was courtesy of a crowd surfers foot. Great show though \:D

I think the craziest pit i was ever in was at the Clash of the Titans show at lake coumpounce (Slayer,Anthrax, Megadeth) 6 hours of nonstop moshing , took me a week to recover

Grady, I was at that Panthera show!!!
It was a mess, even in the cheap seats (the seats that didn't get ripped out anyways)

Slacktide , That show really rocked . even though i have never been a biohazard fan any Pantera show was not to be missed . I also saw pantera with static x and slayer a few years ago in new haven ... Not many shows can compare to that one
