You can laugh all you want but some of the best guitarists came out of the bubble gum hair metal genre in the 80's and 90's.

I am 44 still miss that music. Youtube will hopefully give it a rebirth to the younger generation.

Not laughing here (44 as well). Even though I like a lot of heavy stuff, I still enjoy a lot of the 80s bands. Dokken and Ratt put out great music! Although bands like Motley Crue and Poison got more attention. The first CD I ever owned was Cinderella Night Songs.

Heard some Ratt today on satellite and thought what a great underated band. Cool sound. Since our meeting on the ice last winter I have listened to a lot more heavier music Mitch. You opened my eyes. I like Gwar, Volbeat and hell yeah.
