One on the lighter side...

I remember when this Dokken video came out in 1986 for the movie, the song wasn't released on tape or CD yet. I recorded the audio with a portable tape player held next to the TV. Ahh...back in day before the Internet, Napster, the iPod and all the other stuff now.

I knew there was a reason I did not like Dokken and this song just proves why.

LOL. Come on, you don't like the part where George Lynch busts through the wall and launches into his guitar solo?

you probably could have plugged an input jack from the tape recorder into the TV out but its all good whne we were young

dokken was awsome
Thats one song you dont hear in any 80s tribute or blast from the past.
thanks man.

here is one of my old youtube playlists of retro rock classics that use to play at work when needed. I guess some of its grunge, glam rock, sleaze glam, .. not sure if all qualifies as traditional heavy metal. I dunno. Silly thinking back at it, esp. now that history has qualifed with such gay descriptive names, ie dokken as glam rock.

Nice list Jimmy, thanks.

Here's a new band that is kind of interesting. Still haven't decided if I think they are cheesy or not. They're kind of like a mellower version of Type O Negative.

Alright HydraSport, if Dokken is too cheesy for you, this is a little harder Halloween classic you may like...

Thanks Mitch. Hey I will admit, I love me some big hair glam, but I was just never impressed with George Lynch's playing and Don Dokken's voice well....that is something to be desired. Most of my music collection is from the big hair era.
