All of us Metallica fans(since Kill em all) have not liked the "mainstream" Metallica since two albums ago! The REAL Metallica left after album four!

Just went to the Slip Knot concert last night here in Chicago with Lamb of God opening. OUTSTANDING SHOW!!! Of course at almost 43 years old, I kind of stand out. Or maybe it was the blinding smell eminating from around me of stuff those poor kids couldn't possibly afford.

My daughter live in Des Moines Iowa and bowls at the same alley some of the Slip Knot boys bowl at.

I've been listening to the new Judas Priest album, Angel of Retribution, for a few days straight. It's just an average metal album.

The bonus DVD that comes with it makes up for the album. It includes interviews, and live concert footage from last summer with classic Priest songs: Breaking the Law, Metal Gods, A Touch of Evil, Hell Bent for Leather, The Hellion/Electric Eye, Diamonds & Rust, and Living After Midnight. The Electric Eye performance is awesome!

That Judas Priest single is the biggest ripoff of Janes Addiction's "Mountain Song" I've ever heard. The riff is identicle. I'm not sure how they got away with it , but its pretty weak. It seems like these bands that try and make comebacks just can't write anymore , look at Motley Crew they had some Bubblegum Pop band (Simple Plan) write their latest single. Maybe thats what goes first with old age.

Saw priest a bunch of times at the height of their success including a show with the original Iron Maiden at the Paladieum in NYC. I kinda lost interest after they did the same thing with Chuck Berry's Johnny B.Goode around 1990.

Transition from integration to disintegration depends on the rise and fall of yin and yang.

I'm going up to Webster theatre next Friday to see Sevendust and Skindred - should be a great show! I haven't been to a concert in WAY too long... let me know if anyone else is goin' - I'll be the little skinny guy getting roughed up in the pit next to the stage \:D

Fishing is way too important to take so seriously...
