C'mon Dude- Death Magnetic rocks. Best album since the Black. Granted they lost their way for a decade plus, working with Rick Rubin got them back to where they should be. Love that album.

And agreed - Orion was awesome, as was the little tribute to Cliff. I've never heard them mention his name at a show before.

Sounds like a awesome time.

I really enjoyed hearing all of Orion played in its entirty. That's not something you'd normally hear from them.

that's Cool, kirk joined TOOL during Lateralus and played orion. He must be on a "Orion" kick this year.

Not metal- but Chris Cornell's acoustic tour returns to our area this November. Ridgefield is sold out, but Torrington and NYC goes on sale in the next day or two. Saw this show in Bridgeport last April and it was nothing short of amazing. Just him and a guitar on stage. If you are a fan- definitely grab some tix. They'll sell out quickly as each venue is very small.

Did you guys see any of the video footage from Rock in Rio? What an embarrassment! Was contemplating going to the Hartford show in November until I saw that disgrace. Awful!

I saw a clip on youtube from Rock in Rio and it was pathetic. He needs to hang it up.

FYI- Megadeth Gigantour with Motorhead and Volbeat presale today and tomorrow. Just grabbed a pair for the theater at MSG. They are also at Mohegan. Really psyched to see Volbeat.

How about a CTF member band getting together to rock out at CTF events. I can play a pretty mean guitar and I can sing if there's any interest.

Remember Randy Rhodes? What a great loss of a talented human. Old guys still know how to rock out!

Keep it tight and shoot straight.
