Suicidal Tendencies...whoa..I am jealos..

I am amazed they are still around and I was not aware. They were my first "metal" show mosh pit experience when I was a teen, it was at Toads Place. Never forget it and seen them a couple times after that.

Yeah, I was aware of the pickle smoocher business and he is gone now. He is actually a really sick dude in general. He was a pretty good lead man, though..

Dude - have fun at the show in NYC. I need to get me and give some bruises soon. A vid would be sweet.

WWJD ?

I'm right there with you Jeremiah. Saw them in high school down at Roseland with Pantera, Exodus, and ST. One of those shows you never forget. SICK! Too bad their stuff sucked after Art of Rebellion. I still think Rocky George is one of the most underrated metal guitarists of all time. Have fun Mitch!

Suicidal Tendencies put on a great show on Sunday night in NYC. The venue (Terminal 5) and crowd were both great. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. CTF's Scottie J and I had a great time.

Cool to see longtime bands the Cro-Mags and Underdog open up, even if Harley Flanagan wasn’t with the Cro Mags. Death Before Dishonor was the first band to go on and they were solid, too.

My phone stinks for video and photos, but there are a bunch of cool videos up on YouTube:

The close of the show was cool when the band let everyone up on stage:

Terminal 5 was a great place to see a show. It included three levels. Below are a few crappy pics from my phone.

There are some much better pics of the night here:

Looking down on the stage before the first band went on.

The place was packed by the time the Cro-Mags hit the stage.

Mike Muir firing up the crowd. He put on a great show. Somehow I lasted in the Suicidal pit all night. 40 and still going strong. rawk

Check out this metal band from Switzerland that I have been listening
to named Eluveittie. Check out the girl playing the "Hurdy Gurdy" Great combination of instruments.Great metal band. All the Nordic countries seem to have some real good metal bands that you don't hear in this country unless you go looking for them.

Here's a great band from Greece, Firewind. The guitar player is pretty badass. His name is so complicated they call him Gus G.

Well,I'm going to see Ozzie at MSG next week. I'm curios how the show will be, saw at Oz fest in Hartford about seven years ago and he was reading the songs off a prompter, but he still sounded pretty good.

Cro Mags! Suicidal! I can't believe those guys are still playing. I grew up in California and saw them play together in Sacramento when I was in high school. Suicidal was touring their first album. I got a crippling knee to the thigh in the pit that night that still brings a smile to my face 25 years later.

Read the autobiography of the Cro-Mags singer (John Joesph) over the Thanksgiving weekend. Highly recommended!
