slacktide, those songs brought back some memories. I haven't heard anything like that in 10 years. I felt like i was 17 again on a friday night! That made my night, thanks.

Fishing is like a good drink, just add ice and enjoy.

They sound a LOT like AC/DC, but I am liking the new band called "Airbourne"....top single right now is "Too much, too young, too fast"...love it!!!

Stormshadow, I think they sound more like Jackall than AC/DC

Although not metal the passing of a another great blues guitarist has been reported. Sad to say that Bo Diddley has passed on due to heart failure. Link below.

There is a fantastic Metal documentary- Metal: A Headbanger's Journey.

http://www.metalhistory.com/metal01.html

This was really good- goes way back to the 70s and traces even the most current genres of metal to today. There's so much in Europe/Scandinavia right now that doesn't reach the US mainstream.

Currently stuck in my iPod:

As I Lay Dying - An Ocean Between Us, Fall of Ideals
I Killed the Prom Queen - Music of the Recently Deceased

Here's a graph from that documentary:
