Back when it was illegal to even walk in there, we used to nail monster largemouths during the spawn in June up in the back of Lake Saltonstall. Does anyone fish there now? I would think that there would still be some real big bass in there.

OK gentlemen, here it is:

This has been an incredible string of posts! But now, the time has come...there is potentially 1 entire day left for Greg Bilotta to dedicate to all morning day and night to fishing...all I need to decide is WHERE TO GO!

Before you give me suggestions, contemplate several things:

1. Traveling from Westport
2. Will travel anywhere in search of the record
3. If traveling far from home, must be worth it!
4. Wants to break record real bad
5. Small basstender, trolling motor
6. Craving BIG BASS

Looking forward to everyone's well thought, expert advice.

I will pay $100.00 to the first person to show me proof of a large mouth bass over 11 pounds. Must have Bass in person or a picture of the Bass on a scale showing the weight over 11 pounds . Also pictures of the fish's length and girth are required for those that practice catch and release to collect. FISH MUST BE CAUGHT IN CT WATERS !!!

Time to put up or shut up \:D

His & Hers Bait and Tackle will also donate a $50 gift certificate to the first person to provide proof they caught a 11 pound+ Largemouth in CT.
