Im allergic to land, get me on the water <")))>< My CTF Profile
First person who catches a LARGE MOUTH BASS INSIDE CONNECTICUT WATERS over 11 PPPPOUNDS gets a C-note from me. All this talk is what it is. You all want to think the record from CT of 12 + lbs is true....but my Crystal Ball says it ain't.....that record is 35 years old for a reason.....be it that there was NO fishing pressure back in the day...which is quite possible....or the fact as some would have it that it's BS.....I could care less. Who know's....but my bet it's nonesense. Look at the facts folks.......we've seen ONLY 9's...........and that's a LONG way from TWELVE POUNDS 14 OUNCES. Get over it. I bet you MF's NO ONE EVER even comes close. Even JOE.G @ EL SALTO. Shalom!
I will not die, but awaken from the dream I've lived.
I think Cwood, because I have pulled numerous 3-4lb bass out of there and they are becoming very common every trip. So I think with the abundance of alewives, size of the lake and well oxygenated water even in summer, a trophy or record sized bass could be caught some day. (Csimone knows what I'm talking about by trophy sized bass)
Dusty, those photos I sent you... that place holds the biggest largemouth I have ever hooked but b\not caught.....not once but twice...The fish was as long as my arm which is 28 inches. I had her on fishing from shore in 2002. Again this past spring same place again fishing from shore its my white buffalo....could be well over 10 lbs.
