Kevin, you're right. With all the crap going on in the world, when people do things like this it can really make things seem better. Your last post about your dad was one of the best I've ever read on a fishing site. You touched on many things. Before I get all choked up myself, I'll just say that the people here who share your passion for fishing know exactly what you’re talking about.
IS that the fish Kevins dad caught or is that a different fish?
I am a first generation here in the US and my father was not big on fishing the ocean like you guys. I do however remember fishing one of my first fishing trips with my dad when i was growing up here we used beer bottles with fish line wrapped around and we tossed it out there and caught fish, it was the best feeling and yet we had no concept of using a fishing pole. I still have his first fishing pole he bought brings back memory of growing up and learning how to fish. I only wish i had kept that first beer bottle.
Great things happen to great people for great reason.
Ever since I found this great site I have be in awe of the passion the members have for fishing. But what I am most impressed with, and why I keep comimg here is because of the love for other fishermen.I am most amazed at how unselfishly members give of them selfs to teach others, taking them on there boats or to there spots. And all of the family outtings with so much emphasis on the kids.(the future of this kind of fishmen)
Each time someone takes it to a new hight someone always seems to take it that one step higher.
