and jon...the people of the lower classes and middle classes who are working to keep their A$$es afloat are being forced to work harder by the taxes which are being imposed upon them, and are hoping to find jobs...that aren't ENTRY level which all that is available...but they ARE WORKING to better themselves, and trying to EARN a better life for themselves...but do you care about anone who makes less than $200k it sure doesn't seem like it.
Also the top 1/2 percent of the income earners make more than the bottom 40 percent....so how is it fair that they pay less of a percentage of the taxes that the lower and middle classes?????
I make way less than 200k. Instead of bashing Rich people, watch what they do follow their work ethics and stop being jealous that they have more money than you
Jealous.......if you say so....my cousin is a milti-millionaire who was married to Harry DuPont (obviously the Dupont fortune) who worked up from the middle class to the point she earned her money BEFORE marrying Dupont and if you can believe it feels the same way I do about this and the taxes
Im 26 as well, Even if you did see social security, how much of your retired income would this account as? Save now, sacrifice now and invest now and you will be happy later. A Rich man told me that...
"Jealous.......if you say so....my cousin is a milti-millionaire who was married to Harry DuPont (obviously the Dupont fortune) who worked up from the middle class to the point she earned her money BEFORE marrying Dupont and if you can believe it feels the same way I do about this and the taxes"
You really expect me to believe that someone who has all of that money believes they should Pay MORE to the government?
invest..invest..I'm struggling to make ends meet, invest with my looks, i'm working my ass off working between 40-65 hours a week and am still struggling to MAKE ENDS MEET...you wonder why I'm disgruntled...wake up and smell reality....invest you say HAAAAA!!!!

Where you grew up means nothing. It's how your parents raised you and what you do with the community around you.
Unions help to this day. John, you're lucky enough in enjoy a job in which people don't take advantage of you. Many don't. Even "white" collar workers need the help of unions once in a while. Ex: Look at the starting salary of a commuter pilot in the 1990's. You had to pay $14k to be given a slot in the right seat. After that, you were paid $16k. So you made $2k your first year. Unions came in and stopped the practice of commuter airlines making employees pay for training and increased their salary. These the the stories you don't hear in the paper.........
