Gerg, the term AK47 unfortunately has become a marketing word covering a lot of semi-automatic guns but the original definition most go by is a communist military fully automatic assault rifle. Certainly last night Kerry did not say anything other than AK47. He did not distinguish between semi-automatic or automatic. He leaves that up to the public's imagination. I have shot many AK47s in Vietnam on fully automatic. What you posted was a replica in semi-automatic and not a military AK47. Fully automatic military AK47s are illegal. The only legitimate argument the assault weapons issue has is clip size. The rest are all cosmetic issues having nothing to do with performance or capability and are not a security or safety issue, simply feel-good crap that does nothing.

Baitrunner I meant what I said because what they really went after was double stacked 9 mm. hand guns which left us with John Browning's 1911's 7 and 1.(or clones there of)they knew the old timers would never go along with banning them .But if I had my drouthers(spelling) I much rather take my chances getting hit with a 9 then a 45.All it did was force the unwilling to carry better ballistics.
Baitrunner, I do have a sister but she lives in San Francisco and probably votes for Feinstein and Boxer. Time to take my semi-automatic 3" mag and catch the evening flight.

Hey KC thanks for the insult! Ill be nice about it. But if you dont like the thread dont read it. Mabye if you had a true objective opinion like the other moderators you wouldnt need one of them to delete it you could just do it yourself?

Because he likes to push peoples buttons with his nonsensical posts. Its not even about politics Val. I think hes trying to start a war so the thread gets locked because he doesn't like it. yet he spends hours a day reading it...go figure. just looking for something to complain about I guess
