As for seeing Dime on stage, I'm just glad I glad I got a chance back in 2001. If there was one band I could "bring back" it would be pantera.

Not my bag either, but I guess you have to start somewhere.

Slow fishing is better than no fishing.

He can definitely shred. I do enjoy a few of his instrumentals. I saw him live at the legendary L'Amour club in Brooklyn. Pretty good show.

But the guy could never write any really good songs, and his vocalists have been pretty cheesy. In short, he never could put it all together like Van Halen did.

Two of my favorite instrumentals of his

I agree. Saw them open for Skid Row back in (I think) 90 or 91. They kicked arse.

You can say anything foolish to a dog, and that dog will still give you a look that says, "WOW!! What a great idea!! I never would have thought of that!!"

Some people are born on third base, then spend the rest of their lives thinking they hit a triple.

No doubt about it, Yngwie should never sing. Ever. Same goes for a lot of other great guitar players.

I actually saw that Pantera/Skid Row show too. I think it was like in a parking lot at one of the larger stadiums.

First time I saw them was when they opened for Exodus and Suicidal at the Ritz. They came on early--like 745 and killed it. I was sold as soon as I heard "This Love" and "Walk." AWESOME!!!! Not a fan of the later stuff, but Cowboys and Vulgar are two of the best metal albums ever.

I saw Pantera at Toads place, we were right next to Dimes stack and let me tell you I could not hear all that well for about a week, good times. Also saw Sepultura there, nasty pit at that show.

I may only have one and a half legs, but I still stand tall, life goes on.

Sepultura is #1 on my list of bands I'd like to see reform with the original lineup.

Apocalyptica is a band I want to catch when they come around. Who would have thought of building a metal band with cellos? This vid is with Corey Taylor of Slipknot.
