Maine Never Disappoints!
I went up to call on customers and decided to bring my kayak to fish some little “cream puff” ponds both before and after work. This beats the heck out of watching TV in a hotel room! This also made for some very long days, but it was so worth it. I was up at 4:00 and on the water at dawn each morning and would leave for work by 8:00 kicking and screaming, then return between 5:30-6:00 and fish until dark.
I fished 3 ponds and caught fish in all of them.

The Swamp Guppy from Huskybass and a Whopper Plopper were the deal on the smallies and the largemouth came on a Jackhammer on an outside weed edge in 10 feet of water.
The fish were positioned in the shadow lines between 10-20 feet of water.

It was a tiring but very satisfying trip!
