I was there, and it was the worst MAIDEN concert I've ever seen! The whole album start to finish and only 4 old songs? That cramming it down our throats. The album has not been out long enough for everyone to know all the songs well. And they could have thrown some older songs in between, so the many like myself who like older maiden wouldnt be so pissed off.

Mitch, Zach.
IRON FU@#ING MAIDEN!!
I wish I knew you were there last night. (I had 3 8$ beers, alone (very pitiful) as my son doesn't drink beer he is 15) I ALWAYS run into sombody I know, but not last night! It was my son's first show and it was really great for us. Best 40$ t-shirt I ever bought, cause the smile/look on Tom's f ace was, yes, priceless. Yes, it is a little dissapointing to not have them play 666, RUn for the Hills, etc. BUT it would've been worse if the new album sucked, and it does not.
Last night's vocals were blistering! I'm not so used to the crew cut, though. ANyway, I don't hold it against them for promoting the new album, but I did miss some old favorties for sure.

No old stuff ?!?!?

Christ, even those old strips of beef jerky called The Rolling Stones can pound out a better show these days.

Dunno if i buy that "promotion" thing either. If you're at the concert, it's safe to say you probably already have the cuts too.

OTOH, the new stuff is pretty good. It's still much better than not having them around, or worse, releasing their own version of St. Anger.

Slow fishing is better than no fishing.

They sell them out in the parking lot for $10.
Same art work and all, I imagine they are knock off's and the band is loosing a few bucks by it.
But F them for charging $55 for a lousy seat all the way in the back.

I have seen maiden a few times. The first was in support of their Brave New World album. Luckily I like that album as they played almost every song. The next time I saw them was in I think '03 right before Dance of the Dead came out. They only played one song off that album.

my friend couldnt unload his 2 tickets in the middle section, so he traded them for 2 shirts outside, and no one ever sat near us so I imagine the t shirt scammer got scammed on that 1!

Calvinator; they played more than four old songs and if you want old maiden you should be KISS or Aerosmith fan instead, the greart bands know how over come and get new fans and keep old fans happy. UP THE IRONS

Not sure if anyone is into "Melodic Hardcore" or "Screamo" or whatever you want to call it, but here is my buddies band: Rivers End My buddy is the lead singer.

They're kinda like Atreyu, Autumn to Ashes, The Bled, etc
