Check out the 5th annual Golden Gods Awards streaming live now from CA. They're paying tribute to Slayer guitarist, and awarding metal artists.

The video is only working for me in Chrome. It's not coming through in Firefox of IE.

O-Bass, Jericho is the host. Metallica is playing later.

Darn, got hooked into staying up until 2:30 watching those awards. Cool to see Danzig (with original Misfits bassist) and Metallica perform live. I'll post a follow-up later today.

JoeG,
I saw Leige Lord a few times in the 80's, but alot of my music memories are now a blur, blur back then too! Knew John who played (guitar??) dated an old girl friend of mine. My very good metal chick friends Lori and Linda (norwalk metalheads) talked about them and I saw them when they did the CT. circuit. I saw John five years back again at Lori's party at a rented for the evening Norwalk bar where a few bands played for us metal old timers...
If you were out in the metal scene during the 80's you'll know me and my "group", I knew the Hartford/Bridgeport/New Haven crowds, mostly Females of course! Wags
