Been a few years, but finally hooked up with the big dog for a day on Quabbin yesterday. We wound up with 20 SMB, 1 LMB and 1 laker. Our best smallies went 4 lbs., 9 oz and 4 lbs. even. We also got a good half-dozen quality smallies over 3 lbs.

Husky did damage with the blade bait, and I got all mine on the Luckycraft pointer 78.

Still a bit chilly up there. We found water temps 47 - 53. Air temp was 48 at the launch at the end of the day.

A few pics and a vid ...

4-09, new Quabbin PB.

Quabbin is a beautiful body of water.

Huskybass also got out on Wednesday with Neal and had similar results. They got 21 SMB and six perch, including one that was 14.5 inches!

No doubt. Slow start to the spring, especially up there.
