HI Quick question. I bought a Gil net this year, and I decided to be on the up and up. I bought my 2016 Personal use Gill Net fishing License. When the envelope arrive there was a CT FISH Commercial Fishing Car License plate included.

Does this come with all Gil net licenses? I am certainly NOT a Commercial fisherman. I'm not really even a good fisherman...

what am I supposed to do with it?

For 100 bucks its a "Nice to have" and could save you a ton of time looking and tossing the cast next.

remember STAY in Marine waters... illegal north of the first bridge (in most waterways) check your local area.

all other specials SHOULD be released unharmed.

I used one last year with a friend the day before a friendly Bass tournament. We got about 25 bunker and zero bi-catch ( not saying it can't happen) We only set the net for few minutes at a time.. So I imagine if there were bicatch we would be able to safely release it.
